I've spent a lot of time during this lockdown by the double doors, listening to the birds, watch fish jump in the air on the canal and families enjoying their daily walks. Some days are lovely and some days are hard. This little place is were I go to chill, breathe and be with me. I've started to love myself a little bit more, make time for me to read, stop and think. Maybe, we should all have a little spot that's ours.
I've realised how important the little things in life are and how i was spending on stuff that I didn't really need, who needs that dress in 3 different colours and 2 sizes.
I've tried to support local businesses like butchers and bakeries as much as I can as they will really need us now and forever, really. I know it's easier to go to a supermarket and buy everything in one place. But, if you can, please try and buy a few bits from small independent and build from there plus it tastes a lot better.
Lockdown is a different experience to every single one of us. Try and make time for you. Because you are lush and you deserve to be with you.
