Airbnb at Abercych

The Cwtch Cabin is a light, airy, self contained "tiny home" in our garden in beautiful West Wales. In Welsh "cwtch" can mean cupboard or cubbyhole, but it mainly means to cuddle or hug! It's a cosy space, with spectacular views over the Cych valley and access to wonderful beaches such as Mwnt, Aberporth and Poppit Sands, Cilgerran nature reserve, Cenarth and Fynnone waterfalls, Preseli mountains and lovely towns of Cardigan and Newcastle Emlyn all within 15 minutes at the most.

The space

In the middle of a quiet, west wales village with great access to beaches, rivers, hill walking, coastal walking, cute towns, pubs

The cabin is in close proximity to the house and so it is not necessarily a complete retreat - although it depends where you're coming from! You access the cabin through the main house. You don't need to come through the main living areas. Parking is a challenge in this village. There is a space in front of the house for a small car., Otherwise it's parking on the lane a short walk away.

Other things to note

There have 2 cats here who are curious and friendly.

The Stay

We had a lovely time, we were lucky as the weather was beautiful and there’s something quite relaxing about cooking breakfast outside, listening to the birds sing their little heart out.

The inside was warm and cosy with little lamps by the bed side table. There was a shower and a toilet inside too. I must mention there’s no TV, but there’s wifi. ( west wales wifi) it was nice not to have TV, we could talk for hours about stuff that we probably never would, if we had a tv.

The price per night was around £25.

we loved it
